Tutoring review by Kyaw in Cross Plains, WI
In today's session with the student, I covered algebra methods involving mixed fractions and negative signs. I went over several examples where I explained step-by-step solution and answered her questions to clarify any questions she had. She absorbed the material quickly once she understood. I then also helped her with integer problems both as number problems and word problems. I provided her with different examples involving different signs. Then I let her solve several practice problems and then we discussed the solutions. Overall, she is making progress and our session went well and was productive.

Tutoring review by Alexandria in Cross Plains, WI
In this session, we mainly focused on integrals and different processes that can be used to solve them. The student had a very positive attitude, trying to figure out problems on her own, and if she couldn't she asked questions. She did well working with the integrals and seeing her understanding of the different processes improve throughout the session. We talked about a few strategies for test taking.

Good to see the student again. During this session, we worked on the student's Chemistry and his algebra. This involved a mix of stoichiometry and thermodynamics. We addressed a few of the student's concerns in Math. The student is doing well. We will see each other again soon. Good stuff!

Tutoring review by Carol in Cross Plains, WI
We picked up where we left off, and the student worked his way through the rest of his assignment. I reinforced the value of drawing pictures of what the problem asked for and also had him refer back to his textbook as we worked through the problems so that he could more readily look up the information on his own, if needed, later on. We covered basic probability problems during our first session today and moved on to the probability distribution functions and the standard normal distribution. Many of the second session problems involved using z-tables.

Tutoring review by Dawn in Cross Plains, WI
我们做作业,这覆盖了derivatives of the trigonometric functions. We began the evening with a review of the unit circle since problems dealing with 0, 30, 45, 60, 90 angles should be known without a calculator. Homework problems involved both the new trigonometric derivatives along with the power rule, addition/subtraction rule, and product/quotient rule. The student picked up the relationships very quickly and will need to study them prior to her upcoming quiz she will take on Monday to ensure she has them memorized.
