I received my BS in Biochemistry from Cedar Crest College and my PhD in Pharmacology from SUNY Upstate Medical University. After graduation, I did my Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Minnesota studying cardiac electrophysiology. Within a few years, I realized that research wasn't for me and switched to teaching. I started my teaching career by teaching MCAT organic chemistry and biology. I then taught College Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry. For the past 6 years, I have been teaching middle school and high school math and science. I am passionate about having students see their potential, even when they don't see it themselves. In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting blankets and hats, going to ice hockey games, and reading.
