I'm a graduate of Lynchburg College, with a double major in (B.S.) in Biology and Chemistry. I'm very passionate about science, technology, health and the environment. My research experiences, both in the field and the lab, have given me a good rounding of practical experience. I've done insect surveys in community gardens, traveled and studies the ecology of reefs on the island of San Salvador in the Bahamas, and analyzed the nutrient mineral content of crickets using spectroscopic techniques, on top of several smaller projects.

I love connecting science to the experience of the everyday, and I think everyone's lives can be enriched by a deeper understanding of the world in which we live! I also believe greater knowledge and understanding of the universe will enable us to solve many of our problems, and live in greater harmony with the cosmos.
