I have worked in local politics and on Capitol Hill, for the Space Foundation, a local NGO in Jaipur, India called SMILE, and Save the Children. My passions include history, activism, labor rights, traveling, art, dance, reproductive health advocacy and education, and language learning. I have had opportunities throughout my life to study in both rigorous academic settings in America and immersive experiences abroad. These opportunities have fostered my passions and it is my goal to extend them to other people and eager students. My prior and ongoing experience includes tutoring history and government in unofficial capacities in high school, mentoring kindergarten and first graders, teaching English and health classes abroad in India, and mentoring recently resettled refugees and helping them with language learning, cultural assimilation, and financial independence. During my time in college, I served as the Vice President of my sorority, and was tasked with the honor of overseeing the scholarship facet of the highest GPA Panhellenic sorority on our campus. Before this, I held the position of Director of Career and Personal Development. I organized numerous workshops and events surrounding topics such as resume writing, interview skills, etc.
