It is the joy of the reader to delight in this rich tapestry, and that is the joy that I hope to pass along to my students. I fear that some students may become bogged down in English classes by terminology and technicality, and therefore have a disdain for the subject. What I aim to convey is that literature is far more exciting that all that, and far more important as well. I am a passionate supporter in education geared to excite students, to make them want to learn rather than being told to learn. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga, cooking, and playing with my cats.
