What is your teaching philosophy?

Figure out what method of learning works for you! Personally, I'm a very visual learner. I always draw pictures to help myself visualize the material.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Learn their name, their goals, what they've struggled with the most, ensure them that practice makes perfect! It's important to instill the confidence that they're fully capable of understanding the material. Material to be covered will be determined after hearing the student's perceived weaknesses and targeting those areas.
