Tutoring review by Marco in Country Homes, WA
We worked on finding the volume of solids using integration of a function applied to some geometry. For example, saying that each cross section is the side of a square and integrating to find the volume of the shape. We worked on current homework as well as a homework the student will have soon. We covered the geometry of squares, right isosceles triangles, semicircles, and equilateral triangles. We also dealt with problems having a function in the form x=f(y) as well as in y=f(x). We covered a good bit, and he seemed to understand the process quite well.
