I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Later this fall, I will begin a PhD in Cognitive Science at the Johns Hopkins University to study computational models of language and cognition. I've been lucky enough to hold a variety of teaching and tutoring positions over the years. During college, I worked as an academic intern, helping out students with homework and questions during office hours and lab sections. In high school, as the programming lead for my robotics team, I taught basic programming lessons in Java to incoming freshman and sophomores. I've also worked as an instructor for an afterschool robotics programs, teaching elementary and middle school students basic programming and robotics. While most of my teaching experience has been in computer science, I would be more than happy to help students prep for standardized tests like the SAT and GRE. In my spare time, I enjoy music as an amateur pianist, and playing board games and video games with friends.
