This has expanded my vocabulary and enabled me to help students increase their verbal scores on tests like the ASVAB, AFOQT, TEAS, and HESI. Students praise my tireless patience. I'm never judgmental when students struggle with even the most basic math problems. I encourage them to ask questions until they fully understand the material. I do not view tutoring as a job. It is my passion and my opportunity to give back to others. The biggest reward for me is seeing a student reach that "a-ha" moment.
