I have a BS in Biology from the University of Oregon and I am currently applying to grad school. Originally from the Chicago I have now lived all over the world including New Zealand, Australia, England and Alaska. I am open-minded and can appreciate alternate viewpoints to my own.

I am an experienced field biologist. I have researched, birds, sharks, sea turtles and grassland climate change. My favorite subjects are ecology, animal behavior, marine biology and technical writing. I love talking about and discovering the natural world around us and hope to be able to help others find the same joy in it, However if you just need to make a grade I am happy to help you get there as well.

I do not have any formal teaching experience but I have helped to tutor friends, relatives and classmates. I genuinely want to help others be excited about learning and to make sure that they actually understand whatever subject they need some help with. Outside of work I enjoy getting outdoors, disc golf and ultimate frisbee, playing with my dog, and fostering a few extra animals that need temporary homes for a while.
