What is your teaching philosophy?

To be patient and energetic as I strive to help students of all ages better learn the material, and use specific learning techniques that best fit the learning styles of every student I tutor.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Outline the material, and also set up goals for the student and myself to achieve.

By sharing techniques that they can implement on their own and later on in life.

By staying energetic and keeping them involved in the learning process.

Try teaching it another way as well as using a video or visual to explain it; using modern real life examples to explain complex biology always seems to help.

How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?

I suggest reading over it multiple times and trying to take out information each time.
