I am a graduate of California Polytechnic University of Pomona, CA. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. I then attended Talbot Theological Seminary for a time pursuing a Master of Divinity credential. I found the seminary approach too religiously formal and then dedicated myself to obtaining my K-12 Multiple Subject Professional Clear Teaching Credential and did so in 1989. I have spent the last 30 years teaching in public school self contained elementary classrooms grades third through sixth. I also taught middle school for two years-English and Social Studies. I even taught one year of high school incarcerated youth both science and language arts. My last three years I have served homeschooling families K-12 working with a public charter school. I was very successful in helping struggling students to gain the skills they need and often lack in order to be successful in school. I was awarded three times by former students the Who's Who Among America's Teachers. I am an avid supporter of the homeschooling movement and am most passionate about helping struggling students of all ages.
