I have a doctorate in economics and statistics and fifteen years of college teaching experience. I didn't miss a math question on the ACT, SAT, or GRE. I've tutored students from third grade to graduate school.

I was fortunate to have some outstanding teachers in my life. They shaped me as a person, a student, and a teacher. As they inspired my learning, they also created my passion for teaching. The process inspires new ideas for my research, strengthens my communication of the material, and renews my passion for the fields I study. Good teaching requires empathy and enthusiasm, two traits I value highly.
