我最大的奖励作为一个老师是看students grow in confidence as they achieve their goals. My students are often challenged by middle school reading and math. I am privileged to be a tutor and coach on their journey. My approach is rooted in the Whole Child philosophy and practicing cultural humility. My joy for engaging with many cultures began as a high school exchange student living in Glasgow, Scotland.
I earned a Master of Science in Education and a graduate certification in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin Stout. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Spanish from Immaculata University in Philadelphia. I have more than 13 years of teaching experience. I was an elementary classroom teacher in a high-achieving private school for three years. Then I transitioned into being a public-school special education teacher specializing in working with academically capable students whose barriers were tied to learning disabilities, AHDH, and anxiety.
