I received a B.S. in Mathematics from Pacific Lutheran University, and I'm currently a Software Engineer for Southwest Airlines where I get to write real-world applications and mentor new teammates. I love to code and I love coding with others. I tutored math and computer science in college and after, continued tutoring code online (mainly Java, Python, and Sql). I most enjoy helping others get through their first coding class (typically Java or Python) - I have been in the position where I wanted to throw my laptop across the room out of frustration. So I can relate when I meet students in the same position - my goal is to give new perspectives and clear explanations of the concepts and to show the fun and beauty in code. I believe all students should have access to the resources they need to be successful - I am here to be one of those resources, and to have fun along the way :)
