In 1985, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree and in 1993 earned an Associate Applied Science in Electronics degree.

With all the different jobs I've held during my career, I've always worked in the education realm. I've developed curricula and taught lessons in electronics fundamentals, mathematics, music theory, music literature, and music performance practice. I love seeing the lightbulb go off in a student's eyes in their moment of discovery and inspiration.

In addition to my decades of experience as an educator, I've also mentored students as they've prepared for college. I've written letters of recommendation and I've helped first generation immigrant families navigate the complex college enrollment process. Students I've mentored have been admitted to institutions such as Cornell University, The Juilliard School, UT-Austin, and University of Southern California.

My life's work is a combination of music, film, creative writing, education, audio/electronic engineering, programming, and STEAM education advocacy.

I build stuff and make music.
