I am a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelors degree in Mathematics with a concentration in computer science and statistics. After graduation I took a year to do service work through Americorps, serving in Newark, NJ tutoring mathematics to underprivileged middle school students. While I tutor several different branches of mathematics, my favorites are general mathematics, algebra, and calculus. I also have a passion for tutoring computer science, especially in Java and Python. My experience tutoring has always been to help students see different ways of approaching problems, which empowers them to feel successful in their materials. It is my firm belief that education is the most important thing in helping to create a more equal society, and the best way to empower students to be successful regardless of background. In my personal time I write different programs for fun, enjoy rock climbing (both indoors and outdoors), playing video games, and spending time playing with my dog.
