Hi! I am excited to tutor with Varsity Tutors and help students achieve their educational goals. I believe learning is a life long journey and individual interests and skills can develop and change over time. Throughout my life I have had the privilege of being able to explore multiple educational avenues and continue to develop my skills.

My educational background begins with a Bachelors in Science in Environmental Science where I worked in a bio-geochemical laboratory. This was followed by field work in both the oil and gas and surface coal industries. I then took a fully paid position in a graduate program where I was able to complete my Masters of Science in Environmental Resources.

My M.S. was followed by work in the non-profit industry focusing on providing environmental science based educational programs to youth. In this position, I wrote original curriculum and successfully secured grants to continue my efforts. The curriculum I developed was selected for, and presented at, the National Association of Extension Educators for 2019 and 2020. During this time I also taught adjunct at a local university in introductory Environmental Sciences.

I then decided to continue my education and take the LSAT. After being offered a scholarship, I moved to Denver, CO and have completed my 1L year. During the summer I explored several interests including criminal defense law and even emergency medicine. I was able to intern at a private criminal defense law firm where I improved my legal writing skills and learned how to navigate the criminal justice system. During this time, I also completed my NREMT to gain practical experience with medicine and work as a first responder in EMS and for a local hospital system in their anesthesia unit.
