I am a graduate of Regent University with a Master's in Special Education. My Bachelor's degree is in Accounting. I was a career switcher approximately 18 years ago and do not regret the switch. My educational experience has mainly been at the Elementary Level where I have taught collaboratively within the classroom as a Special Education Teacher. I was also the librarian for 9 years. My passion is to help struggling and reluctant readers become those students who love to read. I believe all students can learn, they must find out how they learn. I love it when students have those AHA moments. In my spare time, I love to read, be outside biking, walking or just traveling.
