Working with students has been my passion since I was in my early twenties. I have taught for 39 years plus some. All of my teaching has been in the medical field teachings students ranging in anywhere between 13 to 50+. I found so much joy working with students in the classroom and labs. When we moved to the clinical setting the joy of teaching and watching students grow and learn just brightened my day. Watching the next generation of nurses learn and growing was what brought me back to the classroom each day. This passion and joy has only grown with me in every teaching environment I have taught in, including virtually. I do believe that every new tool lets me gain new opportunities to learn and grow with each student. There maybe times where I am fine tuning an old tool while a student is learning new information. We should always remember that no matter the age everyone has room to grow and learn.
