I am a graduate from St. Mary's University at San Antonio, TX with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and currently working as a research assistant at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
I have tutored many different science courses such as math (including SAT math), biology, chemistry, and physics. My experiences as a tutor as well as a learner from both Vietnam and the United States have provided me different perspectives and learning methods necessary to become a good tutor. Additionally, having a chance to work with many students from different age groups and backgrounds such as high school or college students, I have learned how to share my own experiences to help customizing and improving students' learning techniques. I, myself, have taken the SAT and different English Proficiency tests which helps me understand how challenging these standardized examinations are and how having a tutor would help maximizing someone's potential.
Tutoring, to me, has been a fantastic and rewarding experience. Having a strong background in science and striving to become a medical doctor to contribute my knowledge in helping others, I am looking forward to becoming a tutor to continue this amazing experience.
