I have been an educator for almost 30 years. I am a licensed general and special education teacher and hold advanced degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education, and Educational Therapy. I work with elementary to high school students with and without disabilities, who are English learners, and who are gifted. Areas we focus on are Reading (decoding, fluency, and comprehension), Math, and/or Writing.

Besides PreK-12 students, I also work with adult learners on a variety of areas, such as GED, HiSET, CBEST, CSET, GRE, MTEL, computer skills, and ESL (reading, speaking, and writing). I am a national edTPA scorer who also teach state tests that are required for teacher licenses.

At the College level, I work with undergraduate and graduate (Master and PhD) students in writing (thesis, dissertation, publications, and course assignments) and offer editing support to those who struggle. I also teach and mentor elementary to high school teachers, so they will know how to provide Reading, Math, and Writing instructions and research-based interventions to students at various skill levels.

I am passionate with working with students and helping them succeed. I strongly believe that everyone can learn. If one method doesn't work, there's always another way to help students succeed.
