Hello everyone! I became a VarsityTutor because I feel that teaching is an incredibly enriching experience - I think that seeing the progress of a student over time is so rewarding for me. I have a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, so I have a lot of diverse experience from my educational background. In high school I received a score of 1500 on my SAT, and was a National Merit Finalist as well with a PSAT score of 1470.

I worked in a math tutoring center in high school and college, and I have teaching experience in math from basics all the way through calculus. I have previously tutored math and reading for the SAT. I have taken calculus at the college level, and for several semsesters in college, I served as a TA for general chemistry classes.
