I received my MBA from Amberton University, my BA from University of Hawaii-West Oahu, and a Teaching & Learning Graduate Certificate in Business Education from Kansas State University. I am Praxis certified in Business, Technology, and Marketing Education and also Secondary English Language Arts. I have 20+ experience in a variety of industries, including insurance, business ownership, business management, retail, operations, coding, billing, law clerkship, and the education industry. I believe that all students can learn and that we as educators or tutors must help our students to find the learning style that best works for their instructional content. I have experience in tutoring for the ACT tests, the Praxis exams, and general study skills. I have expert proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and English Language Arts concepts. I have advanced proficiency in Adobe programs. I have also been a high school yearbook advisor and would love to share my knowledge to fulfill your journalism, writing, proofreading, editing, captioning, layout tutoring needs. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and dog, walking, reading, visiting my daughter and other family members, and sitting on my back patio watching the birds, ducks, geese, and turtles. I also enjoy a good cup of coffee and a piece of dark chocolate every once in a while.
