I am a grad student in Education Technology at UNC, and I am looking forward to one day creating my own learning platform. I received a Bachelors in Arts in Psychology from Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana. I have been tutoring other students since I was young, but I really grew to love it high school when I tutored underclassman in Spanish. That's when I grew to really grew a passion for helping students tackle difficult subjects and concepts in low-stakes, personalized ways. Since then, I have tutored college level Physics and Statistics, studied learning theories in depth, and created my own online course teaching English literature terms. Additionally, I am learning how to program, so I know just how difficult, fun, and rewarding it can be to learning something new and challenging for the first time. Dedicated, intentional time to practice is crucial and maintaining a balanced lifestyle helps complement this effort. In my free time, when I'm not learning programming, I am usually watching anime, reading, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, or writing. I hope this shows you how passionate I am for education and tutoring, and I am really looking forward to getting a chance to meet and tutor you as well!
