Throughout my life, I have always been a passionate and effective reader and writer. As an English teacher's kid, I was exposed to the wonders of language early on and have taken those lessons with me into adulthood. In fact, when I graduated from Ball State University, I was granted Academic Honors in Writing--a highly selective award based on my college writing portfolio and a timed essay. I am excited to use my skills to teach others how to effectively express themselves--and how to better understand others' messages.

I also have a great deal of experience working with adults with disabilities in a classroom-type setting, in the community, and in the home. I would be honored to work with anyone who might be neurodivergent or who needs a more creative or specialized learning plan.
