I graduated with a BA in History from Montclair State University. I have gone to graduate school at Saint Elizabeth University, Montclair State University, and Rutgers University. I have two M. Ed degrees, one in Special Education and the other in Reading Instruction. I have worked in three different high schools in New Jersey, worked as a Support Teacher in Social Studies, Science, Math, and English. I have taught Special Education Social Studies as the primary teacher as well. I have tutored exam prem and reading comprehension students from Pre-K to High School. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History and English. Working as a Support teacher in Special Education frequently means quickly assessing struggling readers and providing them with strategies to improve their reading comprehension as well as their writing. I am a committed educator for children of all ages and try to convince all students I work with to work hard on making their education a priority in their life. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy reading science fiction and playing disc golf.
