I firmly believe in the power of education as a way to expand opportunity for students. Learning is not just about getting a great grade, but giving you more options for your future. A solid understanding of history and civics are essential to a well-rounded education, and I am passionate about both subjects.

I have a BA in Political Science from Norwich University and an MA in History from Sam Houston State University. My areas of expertise included World History, European History, and Latin American History. I am qualified to tutor AP European History, AP World History, and AP American History. I am qualified to tutor World History and American History at the college level.

If I had to pick a favorite subject in history it would be World History, because it encompasses the whole human story. I love studying and learning about the interconnections between the cultures and countries of the world. I have always enjoyed learning about Eastern European history and the history of the Americas. I completed a thesis for my MA on a topic in Latin American history.
