I am a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Masters of Arts in Spanish Language and Culture. I am currently a private high School educator teaching all levels of Spanish, including AP Spanish classes. I'm passionate about teaching my native language and sharing cultural aspects and traditions of Spanish Speaking countries. I love to explore different regions of the United States and travel abroad. I lived in Puerto Rico for ten years and continue to visit family and friends in the island. As a college student I traveled to Bogota, Colombia in an exchanged program. I participated in classes at the Los Andes University and explored the city and outskirts of the region. In the past years I organized student educational travel to Spain, Costa Rica, and Canada (Quebec and Montreal). Other experiences include: Mexico, France, Greece, and many Caribbean islands. In 2004 I was hired as an adjunct professor for CCSU and taught Introduction, Intermediate, and Advanced Spanish courses for three years. My goal is to provide a meaningful teaching experience to students who have the desire and passion to learn, or sharpen their skills in the language.
