I am a mother of a beautiful 8 y/o daughter and 2 dogs. I have built a career as a softball coach and a counselor/behavioral interventionist with 15+ years of experience to draw from. I graduated from William Carey University (Hattiesburg, MS) with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2011, and I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Millsaps College (Jackson, MS) in 2005. I was a student-athlete who maintained honor's level grades, and that experience truly helped me learn the importance of time management and prioritization. Throughout my career, I have worked with children as young as five years old through young adults in the mental health field, in the school system, and as a softball coach. I started working as a tutor or peer helper in the 6th grade when I volunteered time in our special education classrooms and continued to do so in various other settings through college graduation. I love to write, and I am passionate about helping others, so I am excited to tutor students in the many areas that make up writing.
