I am a two-time degree holder from the University of Texas at Austin. I received my B.Mus. in Applied Orchestral Performance (Bassoon), and my MS in Information Science.
I play a number of instruments, including Celtic harp and ukulele, and enjoy a wide range of musical genres and styles.
The majority of my professional career has been in technical and informational writing, both at UT Austin and in the private sector. I have also supervised digital archiving at the Harry Ransom Center.
While I am interested in a variety of topics, my instructional focus is on music (history, theory, and cultural impact) and British and American literature. I also enjoy working with writers who want to sharpen their writing skills in order to strengthen the presentation of their ideas.
