I am an energized instructor who is dangling in the web of education, ready to spin into the lives of those creative minds, waiting to exhale the knowledge, wisdom, and inborn gifts locked up in the treasure chest of learning. My passion to help children has been with me for a long time. I have been consistently working with children for the past 40+ years, receiving my high school diploma from Sumner High School. I obtained my A.A. Degree in Child Development from Donnelly College, my B.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education from Spelman College, and my B.S. Degree in Human Services from the KCK Community College. I am desiring to obtain my Master's and Doctorate degrees soon. I enjoy tutoring in Reading and Language Arts, which I consider to be my area of specialty, because I feel that it is the key to opening up all the other channels of the world. I am a certified teacher for grades Pre-K Thru 5th grade, started an alternative school for at-risk youth being suspended from middle and high school, developed Afterschool programs and summer camps, supervised childcare for United Way, and selected as a Community Champion for the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network, and am now positioning myself to assist any child in need who are trying to succeed in the midst of this pandemic and thereafter.
