Hello! My name is Jinan (she/hers), and I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2021. This August, I will begin medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH).

During my medical school application cycle, I had four (4) interviews and three (3) acceptances despite the significantly larger application pool. I was able to do this because of my strong writing and interviewing skills. This summer, I want to help those writing essays for the medical school applications and help with interview prep in hopes that you'll have success in the application cycle! Since the skills used for writing medical school applications are similar to those needed for other professional programs and college applications, I know I can adapt my skills to make any personal statement or essay prompt memorable and true to each applicant!

In addition, I have been tutoring since high school in various settings, mostly focusing on math and science. This past year, I have also been a writing tutor for students applying to college programs. Most recently, I was a teaching assistant for biochemistry and genetics college-level courses. I am an avid reader and writer, have taken the ACT and MCAT, and love public speaking. I have an adaptable teaching style and am eager for feedback to help students best learn.
