I am a graduate of Henderson State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus on Language Arts and Social Studies for Elementary and Middle School Grades. The majority of my classroom teaching was Middle School Reading and Social Studies. I have 23 years experience in the field of education including thee years as a Reading Coach - Interventionist in K - Grade 3. As a Reading interventionist I worked one on one with struggling students. This was in conjunction with the No Child Left Behind philosophy that students receive the teaching and instruction needed to insure they are not left behind.
