For ten years, I functioned as an academic coach in an online university where I maintained a roster of 100 assigned students at any point in time. My retention rates were very high as were my on-time graduation rates for students assigned to me.
I tutor in all forms of communication for college and business, and in the building blocks of writing such as grammar, punctuation, syntax, topic sentences, and paragraphs. My background includes a Master's in English Language from the University of Michigan; 20 years of corporate experience training leaders in communication; and 15 years of post-secondary experience teaching and coaching student success skills, writing and business communication. I am currently pursuing a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language.
