I am a graduate from The University of Wyoming. I received my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering there. My major fields on interest in Electrical Engineering are in embedded systems, robotics, machine learning and medical devices development. At the University of Wyoming, I also tutored for the Athletics department for 4 years. For the most part I tutored Calculus 1-3, College Algebra, and Physics 1 at the college level. However, I also occasionally tutored Electrical Engineering classes and general curriculum courses like Intro to Music and Intro Archeology. Additionally, while working at the University I worked for a program called Engineering Summer Program for Teachers (ESP4T) for 3 years. In this program we used Arduinos, with C++, and Raspberry Pi's, with Python, to teach electronics and programming to K-12 teachers. I also worked as a Graduate Assistant while pursuing my master's and taught Electrical Engineering labs including Circuits 1, Electronics 1 & 2, and Comm Theory. Finally, I really enjoy martial arts and recently have been helping my sensei teach karate to elementary and middle school age students.

I have a strong background in college math and science tutoring, but I am familiar with mathematics at any subject stage level. Since many of the classes I tutor involve problem solving, I like to impart in a good sense of problem-solving technique. Being able to break problems in understandable parts and utilize these parts to solve the overall problem is a valuable skill that has overlap in almost any math or science subject. For me one of the greatest feelings in tutoring is seeing a student finally understand a concept that was giving them trouble. I believe that no matter how 'bad' someone might think they are at a subject if they incorporate good self-discipline, problem solving technique, and understand what learning methods work best for them, they can understand any subject. Thus, in all my sessions I try to provide students with good learning tools so they can become better independent learners.
