I am a tutor because I want to increase interest in STEM fields and decrease the fear and anxiety that many students feel towards STEM subjects.

I am a senior at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and am finishing a double major in mathematics and astrophysics. I have been a tutor to both high school and college students for two years now.

I tutor primarily high school and early college mathematics and physics, as well as teaching all of ACT and SAT prep for high school students preparing to take those tests.

I teach by helping students understand the fundamental, basic concepts and theories behind the math or physics that they are doing so that they can apply that fundamental knowledge to a wide range of problems and difficulties.
