I believe all students are capable of learning. I work to build students' confidence in their own capabilities. I recently graduated from Brandeis University with a bachelor's degree in Education Studies. I am certified to teach elementary school in the state of Massachusetts. Last year, I student taught in a first grade classroom. This year, I am an assistant teacher in a mixed-age second and third grade class at a school for children with language-based learning disabilities. I also have tutoring experience with first through fourth graders in reading, writing, math, and science. In addition, I can tutor high schoolers in English, IB Theatre, and the Extended Essay, as I received high grades in these areas when I was in high school. No matter what grade or subject I am tutoring, I will make sure to meet each student's individual needs.
