I am a sophomore at Macalester College, studying psychology and studio art. In high school, I excelled in English and History, and I enjoy any subject that requires critical thinking and academic writing. I'm especially passionate about helping young students who have learning disabilities or who may be struggling for another reason. Having been diagnosed with a learning disability as a teenager has made me sensitive to the social, emotional, and academic struggles that can often come with that territory. I'm a strong believer that learning should not be painful, and strive to build a connection with every student and make sessions as fun as possible! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, drawing comics, and looking for rare birds.
