I want to help people be the best writers they can be. For the past three years, I've worked at Hope College's Klooster Center for Excellence in Writing; this fulfilled my desire to work with both words and people. Communication connects people and ideas, so I learned that the clearer the communication is, the better! I really enjoyed my work there and I seek to continue that as a Varsity Tutor.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing. The main genres I'm interested in are fiction and fantasy, but I don't restrict myself to those two. I spent several years working at the library in my hometown and really delighted in the atmosphere there. I also love singing and dancing (I was Mrs. Potts as a senior in our high school rendition of Beauty and the Beast!)
