Dear Potential Student,

As a by-product of both off-ground and online learning, I have a strong desire to help students achieve their educational goals like my instructors have done for me. For instance, my college and medical assistance education has given me the opportunity to work with patients and people from various ages and races. Likewise, I have had the privilege to work at a busy local hospital in departments such as trauma, emergency, and telemetry and an ambulatory care setting for over six years performing both medical assisting administrative and clinical duties.

I tend to be a very hard working person who does not give up easily on a person. Actually, this is one of the reasons many adult learners including myself, at one point in time, found it difficult to pursue career goals. Yet, with hard work and encouragement from others, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degrees in Health Science and Health Education and a Masters in Education.

In addition, I am very accustomed to teaching and communicating with students both synchronously and asynchronously and believe in addressing each of my student's learning needs as much as possible.
I enjoy teaching allied health and health science courses. I also possess a fundamental to intermediate knowledge base in nursing and medical assisting.

I enjoy studying the Bible, playing scrabble and crossword puzzles on my smartphone, and graphic designing.
