I am a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz, with a major in Adolescence Education: English and minors in French and Creative Writing. For graduate studies, I am pursuing ESL certification. I am deeply passionate about spreading excitement and mastery of knowledge through education. Whether I am aiding students with literacy studies like Reading and Writing, or the Social Sciences, various Languages I have studied or History, I grin the widest when I am in service of these pursuits.
I worked as a Writing Consultant in my school's tutoring center in preparation for my career as a teacher--I look forward to meeting every student where they are, no matter the level of proficiency or background. As a first-generation daughter of Albanian immigrants, I am devoted to cultural awareness and appreciation. I'm so excited to be your tutor!
