As a stay at home mom returning to the workforce, I am excited to tutor students with this company. I am highly effective in this field with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1-5) and Master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership. I am reliable, punctual, self-motivated. I also possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. My experience includes preparing curriculum and collecting various content to utilize technology during classroom instruction. My personal creativity is significant, which helps increase student engagement.

Building student rapport is an essential component of my personal teaching style. I believe that students online need to feel comfortable working, exploring, taking risks, and learning. I will take the time to build a personal relationship with each of my students, because I respect them as individuals and am concerned about their overall wellbeing, not just their academic success. Furthermore, I encourage and facilitate relationship building among the students in my class. The online feedback and classroom discussions will help with this component. Building relationships helps me get to know each student, as well as their personal challenges. Although fostering relationships is challenging, it is a worthwhile endeavor that serves as a building block for teaching and learning.

I maintained high standard of academic achievement at Robinson Elementary School, where my students consistently recorded upward trends in their state testing averages. However, my impact as a teacher extends beyond scores to focus on each individual student. I have held supplementary tutoring sessions with struggling and special needs students, and regularly integrate new classroom technologies into lessons to excite my students.
