I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated aspiring educator. I believe that my education is the greatest gift that has been given to me, and my dream is to have as large an impact as I can in my Houston community by sharing this gift with as many students as possible.

Both of my parents immigrated to Houston from Bangladesh twenty years ago in search of a more comfortable life. They took up difficult, working-class jobs with long hours and low pay, and they imbued in me the belief that my education would be the means to provide a happier, safer, and more financially secure life for not just myself, but also for my family and my community at large.

I've taken this lesson to heart and I cherish the quality education I've received. Education is the foundation of opportunity, and as such, it deserves a much closer look than it is sometimes afforded. I aspire to explore this invaluable public institution in every capacity I can: as a teacher, administrator, and whatever lies in between and afterward.

In doing this, my ambition is to equip myself with the skills and insights necessary to share the gift of education with as many students as possible, touching countless families and communities just like my own in the process. I hope you can join me in my journey to fulfill this dream.
