I have a passion for helping others in any way I can, which is only part of the reason why I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I have already obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia's College at Wise. I chose psychology because I love people and working with them. I hope I can be of assistance in a variety of subjects but, my specialty lies in the areas of psychology, world religions, and writing. I am also successful in the basic building blocks of math, reading, and science because I have had many experiences helping my younger siblings and the children I babysit within these subjects. I believe that understanding the basic framework of any subject can greatly build upon itself to make it possible to learn more in-depth knowledge and skills. I believe that education is very important because it can lead the individual on a path towards reaching their goals and becoming successful.
Within teaching, I like to create visuals for I feel that sometimes it can be very helpful in the learning process while making it easier to remember what the student is learning. I will cater to each individual for their personal academic needs and within the variety of subjects. When I have free time, I like to spend it outdoors. My favorite thing to do is to go hiking and take in all that nature has to offer. Outside of my studies, I love to cook and make homemade items, especially hand soaps.
