I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to connect with a student on a personal level as well as help them achieve their academic goals! I strive to make a comfortable environment for my students so that they can get the most out of every session. I truly believe that practice makes perfect, and the specialized curriculums and one on one concept of tutoring make it so helpful for a student who wants to succeed. I am excited to help you achieve your goals for your future. I tutor English Language/Reading, ESL, and Spanish Language. My life experiences thus far have prepared me to help others in these specific areas. As a past ESL teacher and private tutor in the Dominican Republic, I understand what it's like to build English grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills whether it's your first or second language! Through my experience as a teacher and tutor I have developed a broad range of techniques that work for different leaning styles and different areas of need. I myself have been through the process of learning Spanish as a second language. I know this process is tough but also very rewarding, and I love to help others get comfortable with their Spanish so they can experience the benefits of using it in everyday life!
