I attended St. Thomas Aquinas College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I have five years of experience as a private tutor for elementary, middle and high school students. In addition to my tutoring experience, I was a Teachers Aid in a special education school and an assistant to the Director of Education at the Holocaust Museum & Study Center. I place a high value on education and work very hard to help my students feel confident about their studies.
I have tutored students of all ages in various subjects. While English is my area of expertise, I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in general homework help and study skills in all subjects. I am also available for midterm and final exam preparation. Whatever the subject, my top priority is to create a connection between the student and the subject matter. In my experience, I have often found that once a student is engaged with the assignment, he or she is more willing to learn and improve.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy re-reading my favorite books, writing and walking with my fianc and our dog. I look forward to connecting with you for an online session or in-person session at your nearest library.
