Being qua-lingual, I enjoy the diversity of languages. I speak French, English, Spanish, and Creole. My father's goal was for me to speak many languages. And, although I hated going to Spanish and/or French classes as a teenager, I have learned that being fluent in other languages open many doors for new opportunities. Whether as a tourist in a foreign country or a having a job offer, you will be ahead of your peers with the knowledge of a second language. Not to mention, it is a highlight to any resume.
