I am a graduate of Elizabeth City State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Also, I received a Master of Science in Education from Walden University. I have been teaching or tutoring math for over 20 years. I do it because I enjoy unlocking the mystery of mathematics. I believe it is the foundation of all subjects and easier to do, regardless of the bad reputation it receives. With patience and understanding of a childs learning style, I believe all students can learn how to do math.
Even though I prefer teaching Algebra all day long, I am quite knowledgeable in other disciplines of mathematics. Besides teaching mathematics, I do enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and watching basketball and soccer. My new hobby is cooking like a MasterChef. I am far from there, yet delighted in the process.
