Hi! I'm excited to help you make great learning achievements! I have been a 4th Grade teacher for three years in an urban school. I absolutely love helping students gain knowledge, whether that is with Reading, Writing, Math, or other subject areas, like Social Studies and Science. Before I was a classroom teacher, I was a substitute teacher for all grade levels and subjects for 2 years. Before that, I was a paraprofessional in the grade school and middle school classroom for 5 years. I have also worked with students who use English as a second language. I have earned my Associates in Arts, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education in the past 8 years. I like to find out how a student learns best by asking a few questions about what their strengths and weaknesses are, as well as what they like to do for fun or hobbies.
I am a mom of two, ages 23 and 6. I like to play the guitar and take care of my fish. When I find myself a little bored, I usually grab a book and start a new reading adventure!
